Win your CFA registration at a flat $600*
SSEI and CFA Institute are awarding five scholarships for CFA Level I and five for CFA Level II this October. Every winner registers for their exam at a flat $600 plus applicable taxes, instead of the usual $1,140 to $1,490, and the benefit stays valid across their next four eligible exam windows.
The Level I Scholarship Exam will be held on 11 October, and the Level II Scholarship Exam on 12 October, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM IST via Zoom. Registration is free and open to all students; you do not need to be an SSEI student to participate.
*The $600 winner registration fee is exclusive of applicable taxes, which will be charged in addition.
How much the scholarship saves you
Whether you are appearing for Level I or Level II, scholarship winners register at $600 plus applicable taxes instead of the applicable $1,140 to $1,490 registration fee. The benefit remains valid across the next four eligible exam windows, which gives winners the flexibility to choose the attempt that works for them.

Eligibility and important conditions
Do I need to be an SSEI student?
No. The scholarship exam is open to eligible CFA Level I and Level II aspirants, whether or not they study with SSEI.

Questions students usually ask us
Is there any registration fee for the scholarship exam?
No. Registration and participation in the scholarship exam are free.
Do I need to be an SSEI student?
No. Eligible CFA Level I and Level II aspirants can participate whether or not they study with SSEI.
Do I need to have already registered with CFA Institute?
No. You do not need to have completed your CFA exam registration before participating in the scholarship exam.
Can I apply for both levels?
Please apply only for the level you will be sitting next, because the two exams are held separately and test different curricula.
What should I prepare for the exam?
Round 1 is a multiple choice paper on the CFA curriculum for your level, so your regular preparation is exactly the right preparation, and the format of the final round is shared only after Round 1 ends.
What do I need on exam day?
You need a laptop or desktop with a working camera and a stable internet connection, and you should join the Zoom link a few minutes before 5 pm.
When will I know the results?
The winners are decided at the end of the final round on the same evening, and we contact them by email and phone with the next steps.
